Dwelling on pure mathematics, you are a scientist in AI. What are your working realms, concepts that you intend to produce?

It may sound odd, I want to understand myself — what is my personal limit of understanding of the world. Somewhat naive — to understand how ‘thinking’ happens, somewhat odd — how far my own thinking can understand the ‘thinking’. AI right now is just a frontier of such understanding, as theoretical physics was in past century. Though, I personally won’t say that I am working in AI. I am mathematician and I see beauty in mathematics, and it just happens so that my focus is on developing mathematics that is related to AI. As example, lately I’ve been working on new approach to simulating quantum physics with AI. But it’s not for mere purpose of AI, I’ve realised mathematically that it unlock previously and concepts that but it is in fact, about understanding myself and the world. In particular, I believe that we live in mathematical universe and we are merely mathematical structures, so for me this pursuit of new concepts — it attempt of mathematical structure to understand mathematics for sake of understanding thyself.
